Trendtour Paris - Ice cream edition
Paris is renowned as the city of patisserie and viennoiserie, but more and more leading ice cream makers, from Meilleur Ouvrier de France to Michelin-starred chefs, are setting up shop here. As with patisserie and viennoiserie, this metropolis offers a fascinating mix of unique high-end concepts and concepts with a twist.
On 25 April, we took no fewer than 15 customers on this trend tour. We visited Emmanuel Ryon (Meilleur Ouvrier de France Glacier) at Une Glace à Paris and Amorino, where ice creams are served in the shape of a rose. The customers were accompanied by our colleagues Emmanuel Keymolen (Sales Director Artisanal) and Wannes De Ranter (Business Development Ice Cream). Bruno Van Vaerenbergh, international culinary advisor for Debic, was also present to share his expert advice. Thanks to these guides, there was also the opportunity to speak briefly with the chefs in person.
This first edition of the Paris ice cream trend tour was a great success. Customers were very enthusiastic and we are already planning a second edition in the autumn!
