Ranson strengthens focus and repositions its shops
For decades, Ranson has been supporting food professionals as a permanent partner in their daily operations. Based on that commitment, we are now taking a targeted step forward. By optimising our product range and clearly repositioning our shops, we are strengthening our focus on a powerful core range with maximum availability.
Targeted optimisation of the product range
After thorough evaluation, we have decided to remove product groups with limited turnover from the range. This decision allows us to simplify internal processes and focus even more strongly on products that can be used on a permanent basis.
The focus is shifting to a broad and stable core range, with the aim of achieving:
- higher availability
- fewer stock shortages
- shorter logistics lead times
- greater continuity for our customers
Less complexity behind the scenes means greater certainty in the daily practice of the professional.
Ranson Shop Harelbeke becomes Cash & Carry
An important part of this move is the evolution of Ranson Shop Harelbeke. From 1 September, this location will become a fully-fledged Cash & Carry.
Customers will be able to choose their products themselves, pay for them and take them away immediately. The range will be expanded to include raw materials and frozen products, among other things. A demo room will also be set up for inspiring workshops.
From 1 October, all pick-ups that currently take place at the head office in Stasegem will be centralised at the Cash & Carry in Harelbeke.
Ranson Hoeselt focuses on pick-ups
Ranson Hoeselt will continue to operate as a warehouse and pick-up location. The shop on the first floor will close on 30 June. Pick-ups will still be possible via the existing operation.
Clearance sale in our shops
Our Ranson Shops are organising a clearance sale for the items that are being discontinued:
- Harelbeke: 2 March – 29 May
- Hoeselt: 2 March – 30 June
This offers customers the opportunity to purchase selected products at attractive prices while stocks last.
